About Me
I’m a movement specialist and pioneer in neuromotor exploration, with a focus on the spine. I have discovered and demonstrated the ability to voluntarily move individual vertebrae—something previously thought impossible in modern science.
My work is not based on academic theory, but on direct embodied research—thousands of hours spent cultivating the ability to consciously isolate and voluntarily move individual vertebrae. This discovery has been clinically observed and verified using diagnostic imaging, and I’m currently collaborating with medical professionals to further validate and document this breakthrough. I have been successfully teaching this ability to others for over eighteen years and my approach bridges internal body intelligence with emerging science, offering a new paradigm for movement, performance, and rehabilitation.
About SKELETHEA®
SKELETHEA is a practice focusing on conscious, voluntary movement of individual vertebrae in the spine. Unlike the traditional scientific view that vertebrae move only reactively as a unit, SKELETHEA teaches that it is possible to voluntarily move single vertebrae independently, creating strength and flexibility throughout the spine via segmented vertebral motion. Conna-Lee has trained many clients, including older adults, to develop this neuromuscular control, aiming to revise conventional ideas about spinal biomechanics and reduce spinal dysfunction through this approach.
Importantly, SKELETHEA challenges the longstanding assumption that single vertebral movement is not possible voluntarily since no comprehensive scientific evidence either supports or refutes it. This work invites new exploration into spinal motor control by emphasizing conscious vertebral control and connection to spinal segments. So, SKELETHEA represents a pioneering, experiential approach to spinal motion focusing on vertebral-level awareness and voluntary movement, distinct from current biomechanical and neurological understandings.
